Hello World!
I’m Kristen! I’m so honored that you are here. I pray this site will bring you encouragement, hope, and maybe a little giggle every now and then. I am a lover and follower of Jesus, chaser of sunsets and I feel more like myself when I’m in another country. I have a big, incredible family, one that carries the testimony of beauty from ashes. I am known as “Nanny” to two incredible boys, ages 14 and 4. I love to worship Jesus through song; whether that be writing, playing or singing; sometimes I can’t quite articulate what I want to say unless I sing it.
I love to learn. I didn’t know this about myself until I was well out of school. It took me a while to realize how I learn. I in no way have life all figured out. I don’t think anyone really does, because life changes and shifts and doesn’t always go as we hoped or planned.
So I am praying this site will be a place for you to rest! A place for you to grab a cup of coffee or tea, take a moment (because you are worth one) and be encouraged to slow down. Being present in the gift of your life, all the while seeing and realizing that this isn’t your real home. The Kingdom is among us. May your eyes be opened to it and may you find yourself in the grander story of it. And may you experience the Living God in every single bit of it all! Never Losing Wonder!
